A Message To Our Customers – COVID-19 (Coronavirus)

 

At LaFontaine Automotive Group, our customers are like family. And like you, during these last few weeks we’ve been focused on doing all the things we need to do to keep our families safe and healthy. That means understanding how it affects our customers, employees and local communities, and then making the necessary precautions to our work and operations.

We have shared specific instructions with our employees on the importance of washing their hands and staying home if they feel sick. We are closely following the Centers for Disease Control’s (CDC) guidelines and recommendations on the steps we can take to help prevent the spread of the virus.

We updated across our Group with all CDC-approved cleaning supplies, have ramped up cleaning services at our stores and are adding hand sanitizer at the front entrances and in all customer lounges and checkout areas. Sanitizing wipes are near workstations and counters so that employees can keep them continuously cleaned. These extensive sanitizing procedures are also put in place for all vehicles – both on our dealership lots and customer vehicles in for service.

We have asked our employees to follow these CDC recommendations and ask that you do the same:

  • Eliminate handshakes and high fives, etc.
  • Stay home if you are sick, and advise others to do the same.
  • Always cover coughs or sneezes with a tissue or sleeve.
  • Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands.
  • Wash your hands often with soap and warm water for at least 20 seconds.

We are keenly aware of the fluid nature surrounding the COVID-19 crisis is creating and it is at the forefront of our conversations and decisions.

That being said, we would like to remind you, our loyal customers, that we have digital tools and processes in place that if you so choose, do not need to come to our dealership to still shop for, or service your vehicle. We have offered for many years the option for our customers to shop on FamilyDeal.com – to browse our complete inventory, review payment options and then have your vehicle delivered directly to your house or work to complete the transaction. In addition, we have our dedicated services teams ready to pick-up and drop-off your vehicle should you require service or repair.
